For yet another year, the company is supporting the initiative by the NGO WWF, which will take place next Saturday, March 26.
Earth Hour is one of the biggest international initiatives in defense of the environment, and it will be held next Saturday, March 26. This event takes place on the last Saturday of each March. It aims to raise awareness about climate change on a global scale. To this end, everyone is encouraged to switch off the lights and electronic devices from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. CET.
This initiative is headed by the WWF organization, which proposes this gesture as a global wake-up call for the climate emergency and loss of biodiversity. The first Earth Hour was in Sydney in 2007. Since then, it has become a global movement that more and more cities in almost 200 countries have joined. They have created such memorable images as the Eiffel Tower and the Colosseum without lights.
Will you join this initiative for the planet?
To do so, you just have to turn off the lights, computers, screens, and any other electrical appliance this Saturday, March 26.
This year, you can also join the race to fight climate change, also held by WWF: the more kilometers covered by all participants, the more impact the message will have. You can find more information here.
