The Palomo Group contracts Ferrovial Agromán to build a 4-star hotel in Madrid
Ferrovial Agromán will be the company commissioned to build the four-star hotel the Palomo Group plans to open in Madrid. The project involves an investment of Ptas 10 billion and includes the construction of a hotel complex with 378 rooms and 250 holiday apartments, a large conference center and a car park with 1000 parking spaces.
The hotel, located on the Nacional II highway opposite Madrid-Barajas Airport, will have an area of 90,000 square meters. The building will consist of two basements and five stories above the building line; on the ground floor, there will be 50 conference halls and an auditorium to seat 2,200 people.
The largest hotel complex in a business environment in Spain
The size of the project makes the future hotel the largest hotel and business complex in Madrid-Barajas airports area of influence.
The hotel will have the construction and material properties of a four-star establishment and, apart from its hotel capacity, will have installations for conference halls to be used for all types of business meetings. To this end, in the conference area the construction project includes a roof with a metal structure with a 35-meter span, to give height and spaciousness to the meeting halls.
Amongst the most recent work effected by Ferrovial Agromán in the hotel segment are the projects realized at the Hotel Palace and Holiday Inn, in Madrid; the Parador in Plasencia in the network of Paradores Nacionales (State-owned hotels); and the Tryp, NH and Playabella hotels in Malaga.
