Attended by a record number of 880 Human Resources professionals, the Awards night recognised the outstanding achievements of those at the forefront of industry best practice and leadership.
The #SpectrumGrad program was up against top quality finalists from leading companies in different fields. Its winning edge was the program’s rotation across a large range of industries that gives graduates the opportunity to develop their skills and define their own career path.
The two-year program consists of two rotations of six months each and one 12-month rotation across a number of disciplines including business, accounting, engineering, legal, IT, HR, HSE, and many others. The program was also ranked 25th by the AFR in the Top 100 Most Popular Graduate Employers earlier this year.
Broadspectrum’s Group Director Human Resources, Grant Kerswell, was very happy with his team’s result: “I congratulate the team for this industry award, which recognises the great success of the #SpectrumGrad program and its graduates. The program positions Broadspectrum as an employer of choice for the future workforce, providing a pipeline of young talent who will be future industry leaders and who will continue to action our organisation’s values of Integrity, Collaboration, Challenge and Ingenuity throughout their careers.”
Broadspectrum’s Human Resources Advisor, Talent and Graduates, Emelie Kusoffsky, was thrilled to receive the Best Graduate Development Program award: “We have created a unique program that welcomes graduates into a Top 100 Employer organisation. We offer them a huge array of possibilities for professional development while also making them accountable for their own careers and success. It is great to see that our efforts have been recognised by the whole industry.”
The first #SpectrumGrad program kicked off in January 2017, and will expand to New Zealand next year.
The next #SpectrumGrad intake has received close to 2,500 applications. Assessment centres will be run across Australia and New Zealand before job offers are sent out in late October.
