April saw the announcement of Ferrovial President Rafael del Pino that the Managed Lanes projects in Texas would pay dividends starting in 2019. The news came at the Ferrovial Shareholder’s meeting where del Pino also also commented that 2017 had been a positive year for the company.
In Australia, subsidiary Broadspectrum renewed its contract with BHP Billiton for another 5 years. The contract extension came into force at the beginning of February. Ferrovial Services also secured four new contracts in Chile for the management and treatment of pollutants.
There were awards too as Ferrovial received the title of Best IR Digital Disclosure, while Heathrow saw its Terminal 2 named best in the world.
