  • Ventilation systemUnder this contract, Ferrovial will develop, supply and commission a tunnel ventilation system for Fluor-Salfa. Fluor-Salfa has been contracted by BHP-Billiton to increase copper and molybdenum production to 95,000 tonnes per day.
  • Rail Car Vacuum SystemIn this project, Ferrovial Servicios Ambientales will again work with Fluor-Salfa for engineering development, supply and commissioning of a vacuum system, with the aim of disposing of the copper concentrates accumulated in the rail cars carrying the material, thus enabling copper recovery and avoiding such residue from going to landfill.
  • Improvement of filters at the Hernán Videla foundryThe company ENAMI has awarded a contract for the design, construction, supply, assembly and commissioning of a series of improvements in the gas and dust filters at the Hernán Videla foundry to Ferrovial Servicios Ambientales. The company aims to improve the drying process for copper concentrates in order to comply with the relevant emissions regulations.
