The Al Ghubrah desalination plant that produces 191,000 m3 of drinking water per day

The Al Ghubrah desalination plant in Oman is based on reverse osmosis technology, and is capable of producing 191,000 m3 of drinking water per day to supply a population of 700,000 in the metropolitan area. A consortium led by Cadagua has designed, constructed and set up the desalination plant. Some of the most celebrated milestones during construction included reaching 3 million working hours without a lost time incidents, and the maintenance of excellent safety conditions throughout the project, something that shows the unquestionable commitment of Cadagua to health and safety.
