The Mediodía Power Station is one of the few examples of industrial architecture to have survived in Madrid’s historic centre. Today, transformed into the CaixaForum in Spain’s capital city, we can say, in a metaphorical sense, that it continues to light up the city through exhibitions, conferences, concerts and workshops.
