240 continuous manhours, 36,000 tons of asphalt & 18 miles of roadway

I 66 crews work a total of 11 million hours
Our amazing Transform 66 Outside the Beltway team in Virginia continues to reach remarkable numbers.

In July, FAM Construction reached over 11 million work hours! This summer crews worked 240 continuous hours and laid 36,000 tons of asphalt, seamlessly paving and striping 18 miles of the future #66ExpressLanes in preparation for opening the new facility later this year.

How did they do it? Continuous and seamless paving! Congratulations to all the crew members who work tirelessly to make this project a reality for Virginia.

When complete, 2,000 to 4,000 more people per hour will move through the I-66 corridor outside the beltway.

FAM Construction, LLC is a joint venture company between Ferrovial Construction US & Canada and Allan Myers, VA.
