Webber’s Waterworks division has been recognized twice with this award
The Houston Contractors Association has selected PLW Waterworks as the recipient of its 2022 Safety Award in the Large Contractor Category (over 20 million in volume of work). There are four items that are taken into consideration for this award, which includes incident rates, experience modification rate (EMR), OSHA citations and operations and best practices. The organization also highlighted operations and best practices pertain to the safety program assessment, policies and programs that set the Webber division apart from other peers and efforts to improve awareness and reduce incidents. This is the second time that PLW has been presented this award, having previously won in 2019.
PLW was also recognized with a “Safety Excellence Award”, a certificate issued to applicants that have an EMR of 1.0 or below.
