More than 250 participants and 160 companies gathered at the 6th World Infrastructure Summit. This annual event, which ended on Wednesday in Barcelona, gathers all the sectors involved in the infrastructure industry from various global markets.
The event was attended by Cintra, represented by our CFO Francisco Clemente. Clemente was invited to take part in a round table discussion about how strategic priorities are set today in such as competitive market.
The debate was moderated by Clare Burgess, partner of Clifford Chance. Other people who took part included the Vice President of Vinci Concessions, Fadi Selwan; the CEO of Meridiam, Thierry Déau; and the CFO of Northland Power, Paul Bradley.
Some of the topics that were covered included the evolution of infrastructure business models, trends and impact on the business, and the possible obstacles that may limit the industry's development globally.
This annual event is organized by IJ Global journal, which deals with infrastructure and project funding, and Euromoney Seminars, who are experts in organizing events and seminars. The summit was attended by representatives of construction companies and concessionaires, investors, banks and financial institutions, engineering companies, consulting companies, lawyer offices and Public Administration staff.
