Amey, Ferrovial Services' subsidiary, one of the UKs leading public and regulated services providers has secured the top accolade for health and safety, exactly one year after the company doubled in size following the acquisition of Enterprise.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) presented Amey with gold awards for its Government, Consulting, Rail and Strategic Highways and Utilities and Defence divisions, as well as for the company's Fleet and Plant team. In addition, the Consulting, Rail and Strategic Highways team received special recognition for achieving the gold award five years running.
The Gold Award recognises the company’s approach to occupational health and safety, achieving high levels of compliance and ensuring above average safety performance.
Gary Carvell, Group HSEQ Director at Amey said: “I am delighted that once again we have secured gold awards across the business. Throughout the integration of the two companies we ensured that we maintained our continual focus on the health and safety of our employees, customers and subcontractors and these awards are testament to this.”
