Ferrovial and Bankia have joined forces to launch a call for ideas to develop real life cases of use based on blockchain technology. The call is open for proposals until 18 March and will select the best solutions applying Bankia’s asset digitalisation platform Stockmind in sectors ranging from finance to insurance, cybersecurity and the Internet of Things. Ferrovial takes part in this initiative by launching its own challenge on intelligent infrastructures.
Participants will have until 31 March to submit their proposals, which will be evaluated by experts in the relevant fields. Shortlisted teams will defend their proposals at the head office of Innsomia, Bankia’s fintech accelerator, in April. The best ideas will receive a prize and the projects will be analysed to assess feasibility for a pilot test in a real working environment. This competition will allow Ferrovial to detect talent in a disruptive area such as blockchain. It will also facilitate the identification of areas where this technology can be applied to improve operational efficiency in the different company business lines.
