In September 2017, an anonymous survey landed in the inboxes of Budimex employees. The survey asked them about their relationships with managers and colleagues, as well as career opportunities and working conditions in the company. It was later discovered that the survey was organized by the Management Observatory Foundation (Fundacja Obserwatorium Zarządzania in Polish), a foundation that has been implementing this survey programme in Poland since 2006. The positive assessments from the survey taken by Budimex employees were decisive in the company receiving the Investor in Human Resources title. In essence, this title is the only award granted to companies by its own employees. The award ceremony was attended by Cezary Mączka, a member of the Management Board and director of the HR Department. On receiving the award, she commented that:
“Winning the title will be a valuable asset in building the image of Budimex as a good employer, which is essential in recruiting new people.”The award ceremony was held on January 10th 2018, with the award being given to companies who continuously think about the development of employee skills, and therefore, the organisation as a whole.
