Our Polish construction subsidiary, Budimex, has signed a contract with the Lublin region Roads Authority to upgrade 10 kilometres of highway 747, between Konopnica and Kamien. The project is expected to be completed by December 2014.

This contract, worth 44.1 million zlotys (over 10 million euro), includes resurfacing both lanes, building new pavements, and adding bicycle lanes.

Also included is the construction of 12 bus stops and drainage ditches, plus upgrading junctions with municipal roads and other accesses.

Budimex was recently awarded contracts to build the Bojanowo-Rawiczde bypass on Expressway S5, expand the Pomeranian Gallery shopping centre in Bydgoszcz, and build the new Chemistry School in Krakow.
