Budimex will build a new aircraft engine facility for the company XEOS in Poland.  The new facility will comprise a main building housing specialized equipment for engine diagnostics and repairs, an office building and technical buildings. Its usable area will be 26 thousand square meters. Budimex will also construct ca. 35 thousand square meters of roads and parking lots within the premises. The contract will be performed with the use of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology. This will be the first facility in Poland at this level of advancement, in which repairs of aircraft engines will be carried out. Its construction will start in the first half of August and will be completed in November 2018. The facility will commence its operations in 1st quarter 2019. The Xeos aircraft engine maintenance centre is being built in the Lower Silesia within the Legnica Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
