Belen Marcos, US president of Cintra, spoke at the
2017 InfraAmericas US P3 Forum in New York on June 13th. She participated in a panel discussion titled, “State Transportation P3s Cruise to Continual Growth.”
During this session, the panelists discussed:
- The likelihood that public programs will see an increase in funding, given President Trump's focus on private investment.
- How states plan to progress transportation P3 projects.
- Which states are considering applying the P3 model to other infrastructure needs.

The US P3 Forum is an annual conference that brings
infrastructure and P3 industry professionals together to discuss the current state of US infrastructure, potential challenges and issues that could impact the industry's future, and to share their own experiences and best practices.
The two day forum attracts
over 400 infrastructure developers, investors, financiers, state and federal public officials and regional transportation authorities from all over the country.
This year the conference focused on how the Trump administration plans to utilize the US P3 industry and how P3s can modernize US cities.
