Ferrovial, presente por cuarto año consecutivo, mejora su puntuación y conserva la categoría A en los índices CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). Este organismo internacional premia la estrategia de cambio climático seguida por la compañía en todo el mundo.
Ferrovial's climate change strategy has been rewarded with inclusion in the Climate Performance Leadership Index (CPLI) and the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI), developed by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) to recognize companies with best practices in emissions reduction and climate change mitigation. Ferrovial obtained 99 points out of 100 and remains in the highest category (A), attained by only four Spanish companies. Ferrovial has been included in these indices since 2009.
CDP is the world's only global system for companies to share environmental information. It is an international, not-for-profit organization providing the only global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share vital environmental information.
CDP works with market agents, including 722 institutional investors holding 87 trillion US dollars in assets, to incentivise companies to disclose, and take measures to reduce, their impact on the environment and natural resources.
