Ferrovial Agroman, through its subsidiary Ditecpesa, has presented its new bitumen for extreme conditions at the Argus European Bitumen and Asphalts 2017 world conference, held in Lisbon.
Ditecpesa’s Bitumen for extreme conditions
This pioneering product in the industry has been designed to improve resistance to winter treatments on roads under extreme weather conditions.
The Extreme Climate Bitumen conference: The First Worldwide Bitumen Design for Extreme Weather, led by Javier García Pardenilla and Leticia Parra in a technological discussion format, has focused on the description of the research process, production and installation of the new mix, covering a wide variety of scenarios.
“This bitumen for extreme conditions brings together a series of qualities that make it the perfect choice to withstand attacks from ice, water and salt in the winter treatments and, therefore, to have a longer life in optimal conditions than usual mixtures”, stated the Manager of Ditecpesa. “This is an innovative product in the market, where no one had previously focused and with which Ditecpesa, with internal development, has managed to position itself.”
It is the ninth time that Ditecpesa has been invited to participate in the Argus conferences, in its Europe, Asian, and US editions
