Norwegian classification society DNV GL has analysed the Global S&P Index to determine which infrastructure and construction materials companies are in the vanguard in terms of social and environmental responsibility. DNV researched the performance of all companies in the Index, one of the four most influential sustainability indices in the world.
The results are set out in Tomorrow's Value Rating 2014, a report that assesses corporate performance in innovation, engagement with society, corporate governance, value chain management, and business strategy. According to the survey, Ferrovial is one of the five most responsible construction companies in the world.
Ferrovial's score (78%) far outstrips the overall average (69%) and exceeds the sector average (74%).
