On December 2, 2019, a new Open Call for Madrid in Motion was released, detailing Ferrovial’s launch of a new challenge in the field of mobility with collaboration from EIT Climate KIC.
Ferrovial’s challenge will be made public in mid-January of 2020 in a release that will explain all of the challenges in Madrid in Motion’s second Open Call.
Madrid in Motion is a sustainable urban mobility hub that, among other services, launches an Open Call for startups to find innovative solutions that respond to the biggest challenges in urban mobility. This initiative is led by the innovation consulting company Barrabes.biz and has support from the City of Madrid. In mid-January, the partners who, along with Ferrovial, will be part of Madrid in Motion’s second Open Call will be announced. For the last challenge, some of the Partners that participated in the Madrid in Motion program along with Ferrovial were Mastercard, Santander Bank, Naturgy, and EMT, among others. Madrid in Motion is part of Madrid Mobility Movement (M3), the Madrid City Council’s urban mobility hub.
In Madrid in Motion’s new Open Call, EIT Climate KIC is participating in the urban mobility challenge proposed by Ferrovial. This challenge is aligned with Climate KIC’s new strategy, in which cities will be a crucial focus of project development to promote sustainable development in projects and to reduce their carbon footprint.
