Ferrovial took the prize in the Communication category at the first edition of the IN Awards 2015, organized last Thursday, 18 June, by LinkedIn Talent Solutions.
The social network for professionals held its first IN Awards 2015, in which it recognized Ferrovial’s social media and digitalization strategy, and its skill in conveying its messages to the public via social media. Other nominees in this category included Acciona, Sacyr, Prosegur and Repsol.
With the award, LinkedIn highlighted superb performance online by Spanish companies in eight categories: Transformation, Employer Branding, Innovation, Strategy, Results, Communication and Loyalty.
Astrit Fernández, Head of Digital Communication, and Javier Luque, Project Manager for Corporate Development and Human Resources, received the award on behalf of Ferrovial. Sarah Harmon, Chief Motivator at LinkedIn Iberia, gave the closing remarks.
Ferrovial’s LinkedIn profile, which currently has 72,315 followers, won a prize in the social networks category at the 2015 Internet Day awards for its performance in this area.
