Ferrovial Agroman to build the School of Odontology of the University of Chile Ferrovial Agroman will be the company in charge of the construction of the School of Odontology of the University of Chile, in Santiago de Chile. The contract amounts to almost Pta 600 million with a term of delivery of 18 months. The new academic building will include administrative and academic offices, classrooms, library, halls, labs and several facilities. The future school, with a constructed surface of 6,500 m2, will be six storeys high a ground storey plus another five storeys-; the fifth storey will house a terrace, labs and facilities. Toll roads, airports and real estate development Among the most recent projects of Ferrovial Agroman in Chile we must mention the construction of three toll road stretches in Route 5 of the Pan-American Road and several buildings, among them the Public Works Ministry office buildings, in Antofagasta, and the refurbishment and enlargement of Hospital Copiapo, in the Atacama region. Ferrovial Agrománs international construction order backlog amounts to more than Pta 160 billion. Also in Chile, Ferrovial through its subsidiary Cintra- operates four toll road stretches -750 km- of Route 5 of the Pan-American Road and the airport of Antofagasta. Through Habitaria a company created by Ferrovial Inmobiliaria and the Luksic industrial group -, it is developing four residential projects in the capital, with 785 homes on sale and under construction.
