Ferrovial Agroman has been recognised with a number of awards for its work on the Australian Pacific Highway Upgrade - Warrell Creek to Nambucca Heads section. The project involves the upgrade of a 19.5 km section of the Pacific Highway between Warrell Creek and Nambucca Heads. The highway is the major transportation link between Sydney and Brisbane and is being upgraded and expanded as part of the Federal and State Government's plan to convert the link to a four-lane divided highway. The organisation, as part of the Pacifico Joint Venture, won 5 Australian Business Awards in the categories of Business Innovation and Sustainability. The initiatives and associated awards are as follows:
  • Protection of Native Fauna (Giant Barred Frog) has been selected as an ABA100 Winner for Sustainability (SYA)
  • e-Plant Management Solution has been selected as an ABA100 Winner for Business Innovation (INA)
  • Smart Workzone Radar has been selected as an ABA100 Winner for Business Innovation (INA)
  • Digitalised e-Access has been selected as an ABA100 Winner for Business Innovation (INA)
  • Leading the Way - Indigenous Traineeships has been selected as an ABA100 Winner for Business Innovation (INA)
The awards are a credit to Ferrovial Agroman's innovative approach to projects and to the success of the team working on this section of the Pacific Highway Upgrade. This story originally appeared on the Ferrovial Agroman Australia website. To read the original story, click here.
