Ferrovial is ranked the second most admired company for Social Responsibility, according to Fortune

Fortune Magazine annually produces one of the most prestigious rankings of global corporations worldwide, bringing together the 350 most admired and respected companies in the world, among which are included Apple, Google, Berkshire Hathaway and BMW. Ferrovial has climbed to second position in 'Social Responsibility', ahead of Walt Disney, Total and Nestle, and just behind Statoil. The ranking analyzes 57 different sectors, with Ferrovial having improved two positions in its corresponding sector, global engineering and construction. In this category, Ferrovial has surpassed Hochtief and Skanska to finish in fourth position. The keys to this success lie in the excellent positions obtained in the nine parameters analyzed by Fortune. Of these, of special note are the first places obtained in 'Social Responsibility' and 'Global Competitiveness', and the second and third places obtained in 'Service Quality' and 'Innovation' respectively, within the sectoral ranking. In addition, Fortune highlights Ferrovial as the second most admired company in Spain, just behind Telefonica - the world's most admired company in the telecommunications industry. These two are unique in obtaining the valuation that makes them part of this highly regarded club.
