Ferrovial recognised at the 2015 Internet Day awards for its LinkedIn social network

Ferrovial has been honoured at the 2015 Internet Day Awards, in the social networking category, for its work on its LinkedIn channel. This recognition supports the excellent work conducted by the Digital Communication and Human Resources departments to streamline and manage Ferrovial’s account in LinkedIn.

The awards ceremony held at Telefonica Foundation’s space in Madrid was attended by Francisco Polo, Ferrovial’s Director of Communication and Astrit Fernandez, Manager of Digital Communications, who received the award along with her team.

The winners were voted by anonymous users through the website www.diadeinternet.org/2015. Previously, the “Promotion Committee” composed of organisations interested and involved in promoting the development and good use of the Internet and new technologies selected the finalists. The criteria assessed in the LinkedIn category, which Ferrovial won, included disseminating content, the number of followers who form the community, interaction with users, as well as managing posted vacancies.

Along with Ferrovial, the Ministry of Health, the National Police, Atletico Madrid, SAR and ONCE were also awarded.
