Ferrovial’s rating shows that the company has provided important and comprehensive information regarding its emission management, and that it understands the climate change issues that affect the company. Thanks to this rating, Ferrovial is a leading company in this area.
The CDP‘s Global Climate Change Report and the Iberia Climate Change Report show Ferrovial’s position as a leader three weeks before the COP21, the UN’s climate change conference, in which national leaders will get together to reach a global agreement to reduce carbon emissions and limit global warming.
Other CDP awards
Ferrovial has received many other awards for its climate change strategy. The company has been part of these indices since 2009. As well as the recognition received in recent years by CDP Investors’ Disclosure Leadership Index and Climate Performance Leadership Index, in early 2015 Ferrovial was at the top of the Supplier Climate Performance Leadership Index (SCPLI) 2014, created by the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), in which it was given an “A” rating.
