The facilities will feature 900 m2 of fitness areas, 3 group training areas, an indoor circuit, a thermal spa and covered swimming pools, sections of which can be left uncovered during the summer season. The aim of Ferrovial Services is to optimise the facilities by placing its wealth of experience in service management at the service of the public. The new project brings the total of sports centre contracts to 13 - the High Performance Centre in Granada and 12 others that operate under the brand name Inacua.
Contracts for the provision of sports-related services provide Ferrovial Services with an annual turnover in excess of 28 million euros, and the two business areas combined provide employment for some 1000 people, 40% of whom are employed in the facilities by way of concession agreements. The new contract is expected to create some 30 jobs and is the latest to be awarded to the company since Inacua l’Arboc in Tarragona in 2017.
Ferrovial Servicios consolidates its position in sports centre management
The new contract allows Ferrovial Servicios to continue its expansion in the integrated management of sports facilities in Spain via the brand name Inacua, which currently operates 12 licenses throughout the country. The brand recently updated its corporate image, presenting a new website, websites for each of the centres it administers and a recently-launched in-house blog featuring advice and tips relating to health and sporting activities.
