Ferrovial Services is participating in the Smart City Expo World Congress for the eighth consecutive year, which takes place from November 19th to 21st in Barcelona.
The company will present under the claim ‘In Cities’, discussing the latest developments to respond to the needs of cities and their inhabitants, creating sustainable communities that improve residents’ quality of life.
Ferrovial Services will have a stand (B-267) where it will exhibit its latest developments in the city services sector in fields such as energy, the environment, industry, infrastructure, facility management, and health. They will also showcase the latest solutions in digital transformation in smart cities, such as the Internet of Things (XpertIOT), efficient urban lighting management (5G Ready), and 3D printers (Xpert 3D Print) used in the company’s maintenance contracts.
Schedule of presentations
The schedule of activities at the stand will also have different presentations and speeches related to sustainability, citizen participation, digital transformation, the environment, energy efficiency, and transportation. Of particular note are presentations such as “Future-proof cities: Building Resilience and Acting on Climate Change”, which are related to applications designed to improve the experience of professional activities at SMEs such as Kuiko; tools to encourage citizen participation in recycling, like Dugud and Remad; and demonstrations that show the company’s presence in useful city services, such as Barcelona’s bike-sharing contract.
