Ferrovial Serviços has presented the Terra Mais organic compound at the Agroglobal Agricultural Fair
The Ferrovial Services subsidiary in Portugal, Ferrovial Serviços, has presented recently the Terra Mais organic compound at the Agroglobal Agricultural Fair- the biggest agricultural fair in Portugal- inaugurated by the Minister of Agriculture, Luis Capoulas Santos, along with Assunçao Cristas, the current leader of the Popular Party (CDS-PP), and which was attended by more than 30,000 visitors and 300 companies in the sector.
Presence at the Agroglobal Agricultural Fair
In the fifth edition of this fair the main and most representative companies of the agricultural sector of the country were gathered. Attendees exchanged knowledge, technology experiences and ideas for new business models. Pinto Barriga, Treatment, Industry and Organic Valuation Director, and Mr. Ricardo Fortunato Silva, Treatment and Organic Valuation Manager, attended the event from the Ferrovial Serviços side.
The Terra Mais organic compound
The product Terra Mais is an organic compound obtained from treatment plant sludge as the result of the organic waste treatment process with composting procedures. It is used in the agriculture sector, adding nutrients to soils lacking these. Ferrovial Serviços, which recently got the license to commercialize Terra Mais, used the event to present it to the attendees.
Facility Management Workshop
In addition, Ferrovial Serviços participated in the X Seminar of Facility Management celebrated by the Portuguese Association of Facility Management in Lisbon. The company participated in two conferences called “Connecting Real Estate, People and Trends” by Rafael Madina, Senior Market Manager, and “The Digitizing FM: FM 4.0.” by Juan Beneytez, Director of Business Development in UK’s Energy and Facility Competency Center.
Ferrovial Serviços manages different contracts related to the Facility Management activity in large companies such as Vodafone, Mercedes, Ericsson, MAPFRE and Banco Santander.
