Ferrovial to participate in the 4th edition of Pasion>ie to continue promoting entrepreneurship

Pasion>ie, now in its fourth edition, is a programme organised by Accenture and IE Business School to encourage entrepreneurship in Spain. Projects may be submitted from 29 October 2014 until 7 December 2014. There are three categories: Cities of the Future, Healthcare of the Future and Commercial Distribution of the Future. University and business school students, researchers, university professors, entrepreneurs and start-ups are invited to submit projects. In addition to Ferrovial, other collaborating entities and companies include Madrid city government's Innovation Area and companies such as BBVA, Endesa, Makro, Repsol, Rousaud Costas Duran, Servicio Madrileño de Salud and Zurich. Ferrovial at Pasion>ie Innovation is a strategic tool to respond to the global challenges facing the infrastructure industry. Ferrovial has numerous in-house initiatives aimed to promote innovation; however, those processes must be enriched through an ecosystem that is open to alliances with entrepreneurs and start-ups. In this context, Ferrovial's participation in Pasion>ie allows it to look for innovative proposals in the Cities of the Future category whose goals align with our priority innovation areas: waste treatment, energy efficiency and smart cities.
