This was the recognition behind the award presented at the 2019 edition of Informe Reporta, where Ferrovial’s Online Integrated Annual Report was named “Best in Accessibility.” The company has been doing thorough work to improve accessibility and the user experience in accessing the digital Integrated Annual Report.
In other news, Ferrovial’s Report went up five positions in the general ranking, reaching sixth place. The company is now, then, among the Top Ten in a study that is in its tenth year and has become a reference point in communicating with investors.
Francisco Polo, Director of Communications and CSR at Ferrovial, was present to receive the award from Ms. María Dolores Ortiz, General Director of Mobility Infrastructure and Planning on Madrid’s City Council and Dean of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos de Madrid.
Informe Reporta
This study is on the quality of information that companies on the Madrid Stock Exchange General Index (IGBM) make available to their shareholders and interest groups when holding the regular annual shareholders meeting.
How are the scores calculated? As explained on the InformeReporta website: ‘the ranking comes from applying 36 indexes that are grouped into four cores (Transparency, Commitment, Relevance, and Accessibility), each of which is weighted according to its importance. The maximum score across the 36 indexes adds up to 100, and each index is rated on a scale from 0 (no information) to 4 (the information covers all aspects evaluated by the index, and abundant statistics supporting the information are provided).
