FMM lands integrated facility management contract in Qatar from oilfield services company Schlumberger

The Ferrovial Services subsidiary in Qatar is to perform integrated facility management work for Schlumberger.  FMM, Facilities Management & Maintenance, a joint venture between Ferrovial Services and Qatar Airways, has been awarded a three-year maintenance contract by Schlumberger Qatar. Ferrovial Services' Qatari subsidiary will provide facility management for the company's non-oil related services throughout 5 sites in Qatar. The services to be delivered include building and equipment maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, pest control and waste management under a single contract. This agreement will directly employ more than 100 people. By providing these services in a preventative and secured way, FMM's contract goal is to enable Schlumberger Qatar to focus on its core business with continuous efficiencies and improvements.

Ferrovial Services' presence in Qatar

Ferrovial Services, through its subsidiary FMM, provides facility management services in the state of Qatar. The key project, Hamad International Airport (HIA), includes the full operations and maintenance of the passenger terminal complex, lounges, airport hotel, shops, VIP areas, the catering building, roads, tunnels and accesses. HIA land surface is about one-third the size of Doha (capital of Qatar): 22 km2 with a 600,000 m2 passenger terminal complex serving around 30 million travelers every year.
