Íñigo Meirás, CEO of Ferrovial, was presented with the National Innovation Award, in the Internationalisation category, by King Felipe VI in Valladolid on Tuesday.
Ferrovial was recognised for the application of innovation in various areas of its business and its open innovation model, promotion of talent through specific incentives, and leadership in European and global projects. Its innovation and presence in multiple countries have had a broad “pull” effect on Spanish SMEs, inspiring them to internationalise.
