Polish services wing FBSerwis at the 3rd Polish-Nordic Road Forum in Sopot

Ferrovial's Polish services wing FBSerwis co-sponsored the Polish-Nordic Road Forum that took place in the city of Sopot on June 4-6. The event gathered the key representatives of road industry from Poland, Baltic and Scandinavian countries who discussed current and future challenges for road management. The main theme of the forum was the management of road networks, including the principles of road asset management and road safety. Special attention was paid to different ways of contracting, calculating and remunerating road maintenance works.  FBSerwis CEO Artur Pielech took part in one of the debates sharing ideas and experience in road maintenance with the representatives of other leading contactors from Poland: Hanna Klimas (Saferoad), Piotr Rotter (Intertoll), Paweł Zawadzki (Zaberd), and Krzysztof Strzelczyk (Strzelbud). The debate was preceded by a presentation given by Karol Markowski, the Deputy Director of the Gdańsk Branch of GDDKiA who spoke about indicative models of road maintenance.   The Forum was organized by the Polish Road Congress and co-hosted by the Gdansk Branch of the General Director of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).
