The media company awarded the president of Ferrovial, along with the head of Innovation at Telefónica and the general manager at Lanzadera.
Del Pino has been awarded Business Leader of the Year in the first edition of the Leader Awards given by La Información. The president of Ferrovial emphasized that the award is a “collective recognition” of the company’s 100,000 employees. “The business leader embodies everyone’s effort and dedication,” he pointed out. Del Pino also emphasized that Ferrovial’s focus as a business is getting to know the problems around infrastructure and trying to solve them. He received the award from the minister of Development, José Luis Ábalos, and the minister of Economy, Nadia Calviño. The minister of Science, Innovation, and Universities, Pedro Duque, and Pedro Rollán, vice-president of the Community of Madrid, were also in attendance.
Along with Rafael del Pino, La Información awarded Javier Jiménez Marco, general manager of Lanzadera, as a Leader in Business Initiative; and Gonzalo Martín-Villa, global head of innovation (CIO) at Telefónica, as a Leader in Innovation.
