Pasion>ie allows Ferrovial to seek innovative solutions to business challenges in startups competing in the category of cities of the future, as they are aligned with three of the company's priority areas of innovation: waste management, energy efficiency and cities.
The selection criteria have been, once again, the novelty of the project, the technological contribution, scalability and viability of projects as well as characteristics of the team and attractiveness for investors.

Hospitalilty day was recently held, which is an encounter that starts the support and mentoring phase of the programme, in which a tutor is assigned and one (or more) partner companies as project mentors.
The finalists will receive specific training for entrepreneurs provided by IE Business School and specialised legal advice. During this first event, the entrepreneurs of these twelve projects had the opportunity to meet and establish a first contact with the companies that have selected them as finalists.
Investors Day will take place on 10 May 2016 and the 12 finalists will again be evaluated by the Forum of Advisors to select three winners, one per category, which will be awarded with a prize package in kind which this year will reach a total value of 30,000 euros, 10,000 euros each.
