This April at Ferrovial… In terms of new contracts and initiatives…Ferrovial subsidiary Budimex has been awarded a contract for modernising and extending Lithuania Square in Lublin city centre. As well as this,  Ferrovial subsidiary Cadagua, specialist in water infrastructure, has won the contract to modernize the Warsaw water treatment plant in Poland. Looking at new company initiatives, Ferrovial will launch a new Digital HUB to make the most of the market opportunities presented by the digitalization of society. Through its services business line, Ferrovial has also created the first street lighting helpdesk in Spain. Ferrovial has also participated in a number of exciting events including the Fourth Global Meeting of Hospital Engineering which took place in Cordoba. In addition to this, the Spanish Green Growth Group which Ferrovial forms an important part of was present at the Paris Agreement signing ceremony in New York, a crucial milestone in the bid to combat climate change. In other company news, 2016 is starting well for Heathrow Airport, not only have last year’s results been published indicating the highest ever passenger service ratings, they were also recognized for excellent passenger service by The Skytrax World Airport Awards. Elsewhere in the UK, Amey and Blue Sky celebrated their 10 year partnership and more than 300 new hires, all of which are ex-offenders. In terms of completed projects, The project SEEDS has been completed after 42 months of activity.   Watch a video summary of the April news here:
