- It climbed up two positions from last year
- Coinciding with the launch of its new website, which was rated “excellent”
- The company also took the prize for “Best Outward Digital Medium”, among others, in this year’s Dircom awards
Ferrovial’s corporate website was named as being in the top three among Spain’s 24 largest listed companies, according to WebRanking. Ferrovial climbed two positions this year in the league table produced by ComprendCom, a platform of experts in corporate digital communications.
This improvement was based on the major role of sustainability in its site, launched earlier this year, which was rated as “excellent”. The strong focus on sustainability is in line with Ferrovial’s strategy, which has placed it as the most sustainable company in its industry, according to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices.
The new site provides a unified corporate image for the group and all its brands under an innovative, modern approach that enhances the user experience and offers custom views for each of the markets in which the company operates (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, and Latin America). The site is responsive as it adapts to a full range of devices and is accessible to all users; it also implements a strategy based on more local content and audiovisual materials, in addition to the existing horizontal and global content.
The company also received the Dircom 2020 award for “Best Outward Digital Medium”. Ferrovial’s corporate site was also a finalist in the “Best General Digital Design” category at the Content Marketing Awards, and the new global site received an honorable mention at the Platinum PR Awards.
