Heathrow Premio Team Partnership Awards 2016
Team Heathrow has awarded the collaboration between Ferrovial Agroman and Morgan Sindall for their excellent commitment to responsible business and community engagement activities.
On 2nd November, Ferrovial Agroman and Morgan Sindall were presented with the award for Doing the Right Thing at the Team Heathrow Partnership Awards 2016. The award recognises both companies' commitment to working in partnership with Team Heathrow and implementing a wide range of community engagement activities. The award comes after a year full of events and fundraising as part of Ferrovial Agroman's collaborative community engagement programme.
Juan Pablo Perez, Project Director at Q6 Heathrow, said: "This is an achievement for the whole team and is in recognition of the continued efforts and commitment to community engagement activities and doing the right thing. It is a real testament to how we at Ferrovial Agroman are responsible in the way we do business, how we engage our teams and provide the greatest benefits for our client, Heathrow, and our stakeholders in the community."
Among many others, the activities included supporting the Race the Plane event, which raised a total of more than £10,000 for OXFAM; delivering several inspiring workshops to pupils at local schools to improve job prospects, education and training; and supporting the Heathrow Skills Taskforce, an organisation which  addresses the skills gaps of young people in the Borough of Ealing by providing them with courses, meeting spaces and funding. The submission was prepared by Ellie Brown (Ferrovial Agroman) and Amanda Soundararaj (Morgan Sindall) and emphasised their businesses' combined dedication to community activities as well as their focus on responsible business. Ellie Brown highlighted that the awards were "a great opportunity to demonstrate how we have developed the community engagement programme throughout the year. It is very rewarding to have our collaborative approach recognised by our client Heathrow." The submission meant the teams could demonstrate their efforts to make Heathrow a greater place to work and to see a broader intake from the local community. Ferrovial Agroman showed their enthusiasm and, in line with the company's values and constant pursuit of excellence, committed to making all efforts to exceed these standards for community activities in 2017.   Ferrovial Agroman was also shortlisted in the categories of Working Together and Treating Everyone with Respect. "These are behaviours that we, as a team, can showcase in all our works here at the airport," Juan Pablo Perez concluded.
