Broadspectrum and Cadagua, both belonging to the Ferrovial group, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly pursue water projects in Australia and New Zealand.
As one of Australia’s leaders in the water market, Broadspectrum provides asset improvement and facility maintenance services to an array of customers, including SA Water, Gippsland Water, Water Corporation, Queensland Urban Utilities and South East Water in Australia, and Watercare and Far North District Council in New Zealand.
Cadagua’s customer base extends through the Middle East, Europe and North America, providing design, process engineering, construction and operation services to complex water, wastewater, and advanced water treatment and desalination plants.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to work within our group of companies, with Cadagua, and combine their process engineering and operations capability with Broadspectrum’s local presence and track record in asset improvement and maintenance,” said Broadspectrum Chief Executive of Urban Infrastructure Sandra Dodds.
Cadagua’s Director Pablo Riesco is equally excited about the opportunity to expand the company’s presence in the Pacific and said that they are confident that Cadagua will contribute to the growth of the Ferrovial Group in the Australian hydro infrastructure market by providing advanced technical solutions which are sustainable, innovative and profitable.
