This recognition, awarded by the British Safety Council, puts the company in the top 2.5% of applicants and sets it apart from the competition.
In a recognition that goes to all Ferrovial Agroman projects in the UK, the British Safety Council has awarded the company an International Safety Award with distinction. This shows the importance Ferrovial Agroman places on Health, Safety & Wellbeing on a daily basis and that they set themselves apart from the competition.
The total number of applications was 558, of which only 15 were awarded distinctions (Ferrovial Agroman scored 59 out of 60). This puts them in the top 2.5% of applicants. The International Safety Awards Gala Dinner will be held on Friday 27 April at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, in a black-tie event that comes as one of the most prestigious dates in the Health & Safety calendar.
Ferrovial Agroman's Health, Safety, Quality & Environment director for Ferrovial Agroman UK & Ireland, Bob Hackett, commented:
"This award shows that Health & Safety has always been, and will continue to be, Ferrovial Agroman's non-negotiable value. It also shows our commitment to the ongoing wellbeing of our workforce. I am particularly proud that this is a recognition not to just one single project, but to all of our projects across the country and the entire workforce. Great effort everyone - congratulations!"
