Ditecpesa has launched DIT-GLUE to the market, a new product designed for asphalt emulsion coating which provides up to twice binding power for pavements.
This is a concentrate with nano-materials which, once diluted in water and lime (Ca(OH)2), generates a stable suspension that enhances bonding between layers when applied on asphalt emulsions and also prevents the adhesion of the tack coat applied in our road projects on vehicle wheels, thus impairing their efficiency.
DIT-GLUE is a white watery concentrated solution that is mixed with water and hydrated lime to obtain a homogeneous suspension in order to spread it on the tack coats applied between pavement layers.
Ditecpesa has already launched this product in the market, and it has been used in A-2 highway, Madrid-Barcelona, with outstanding results, providing up to twice binding power for road surface layers.

Ditecpesa manufactures and sells asphalt products such as penetration bitumen, modified bitumen, bitumen modified with circular economy products (recycled plastics and scrap tires), emulsions and the nano-modified primer Bitumen for Extreme Weather (BCE, per its acronym in Spanish).
