CADAGUA

CADAGUA has successfully completed, during this month of October 2021, the works contracted by EMACSA (Empresa Municipal de Aguas de Córdoba S.A.) to build a biogas treatment plant at the WWTP LA GOLONDRINA, in the city of Cordoba. The contract consisted of the construction project and works for a biogas treatment facility (including civil works, assembly of equipment and installations, commissioning and operating tests) for a flow of 8,500 Nm3/day.

The objective of biogas treatment is to eliminate the hydrogen sulfide contained in this gas in the waste water treatment plants, which allows the plant’s cogeneration facilities, where energy is generated, to use the biogas at maximum efficiency without polluting emissions or risk to the engines. For this treatment, the THIOPAQ biological elimination system will be used.

With this project, CADAGUA reinforces its position as a national leader in the installation of equipment for treating biogas from wastewater treatment plants for energy use.
