Congratulations to Pacifico for exceeding 2 Million hours LTI free

Local news

Last Friday the 4th November 2016, the Pacifico team (Acciona Ferrovial JV) at the Warrell Creek to Nambucca Heads Pacific Highway upgrade project celebrated the achievement of 2M hours without and LTI and more than 500 days LTI free, as well as the Project recently completing the production of U-Girders at our purpose built Precast Facility North of Macksville.

We would like to acknowledge the efforts of the entire team. We are achieving excellent results for both Pacifico and our client RMS.

In the Precast Facility alone, we have had 166 U-Girders produced between November 2015 and November 2016. The final girder was successfully poured on the 7th November 2016. This has all been achieved without and LTI from the commencement of the construction in February 15.

The successful completion of Girder production is a significant milestone. We now move into the demobilisation phase of the purpose-built facility, commencing later this year. The plan is to then relocate the shed, the moulds and all other supporting equipment to the Harwood Project, where we will build the Bridge over the Clarence River at Harwood, near Yamba NSW.

This Project is being led by a separate Acciona Ferrovial Joint Venture entity, trading as Pacifico Harwood who will build the 1.5km Bridge over the Clarence River as part of the overall Pacific Highway Upgrade.

Our team will now focus on completing 2016 in the coming weeks and we thank everyone again for their ongoing efforts, and we look forward to crossing the finish line, safely.

Well done Pacifico.
