At Ferrovial Agroman, the Northern Beaches Hospital Roadworks (NBHR) team works hard to maintain strong and positive relationships with residents and stakeholders along our project alignment.
Stage 1 of the NBHR project is being undertaken with around 110 properties fronting the roads we are widening and upgrading. The works comprises a substantial amount of utilities relocation, new kerbs and footpaths and regular liaison with the residents is required to mitigate the impact of the roadworks to the residents and in particular manage access to the properties. Due to traffic constraints, a high amount of activities has to be undertaken at night.
Ongoing consultation and stakeholder management is vital to ensure our residents know what work is taking place, to enable our work program to go ahead as scheduled. To thank the residents for their ongoing patience and cooperation the project team organised a thank you hamper to be delivered to the 110 front facing properties.
The Community Team worked closely with a local company and was able to hand pick each item that was placed in the hamper, making sure these items would be of interest to our residents we have gotten to know over the last few years. We selected local produce to represent the local Northern Beaches businesses.
The residents have been very grateful for the hamper, providing positive feedback back to the Community Team.
As Stage 1 of the project is nearing an end, the NBHR project team is proud to continue to maintain encouraging and collaborative relationships while delivering first-class infrastructure for the Northern Beaches.
