Amey, British subsidiary of Ferrovial Services, has received three awards from the RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) for its work safety practices.

These awards, which are the longest-running Health and Safety awards in the United Kingdom, reward achievements in the work-safety-systems management, including the evaluation of good practices, leadership and the workers implication in this area.

Amey’s Consulting, Rail and Utilities businesses each received a Gold Medal, while the Highways business was awarded silver. The prizes were given during a ceremony at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham.

Gary Booton, HSEQ Director at Amey said: “We are delighted to have been once again considered worthy of these prestigious RoSPA awards. Safety is one of our core values and this continued recognition clearly demonstrates our commitment to the health and safety of each and every one of our employees. We will not rest until we have eliminated all accidents throughout our organisation. These awards give credit to the hard work and diligence of all our employees and encourage us to achieve our goal of zero accidents.”
