On 11th June, Dariusz Blocher, on behalf of the company, received the prize of Industrial Leader for Polish Entrepreneurs 2018 by Gazeta Polska Codziennie, from Jerzy Kwieciński, the Minister of Investment and Economic Development.

Jerzy Kwieciński, the Minister of Investment and Economic Development, underlined that Budimex is an example of a Polish company which became the leader in a very competitive international environment and which is strongly connected with the Polish market.
Similarly to previous years, the award winners were appointed by the Competition Jury composed of the representatives of the project’s institutional partners: Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu (Industrial Development Agency), Fundacja Polskiego Godła Promocyjnego „Teraz Polska” (Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation “Teraz Polska”) and Instytut Staszica (Staszic Institute). The Jury also included representatives of the economic and scientific organisations: Centrum im. Adama Smitha (Adam Smith Center), Związek Pracodawców i Przedsiębiorców (Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers), Instytut Jagielloński (Jagiellonian Institute) and Rada Gospodarcza Strefy Wolnego Słowa (Economic Council of the Freedom of Expression Area).
The value of this prize is highlighted by the fact that it was handed over in the presence of the ministers of: the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Entrepreneurship, as well as Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The company was awarded with another valuable prize two weeks earlier, namely the title of the Benefactor of the Year 2019, for its CSR activities.
