Cadagua awarded its first contract in the US

News

Cadagua, Ferrovial’s water treatment subsidiary, is to upgrade a waste water treatment plant in Trophy Club, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area in Texas, for 13.5 million dollars.

The project includes installing a new pre-treatment system based on prefilter screens, rotary screens and flat membranes. The execution period is 18 months, during which time the plant will remain operational and maintain discharge quality.

This contract provides Cadagua with a foothold in the US, a strategic market where the water industry has considerable scope for growth, in both treatment and desalination. The company has designed and built more than 235 water treatment plants with the capacity to supply more than 21 million people.
