The award sets out to select projects in which outstanding performance and results were achieved.
Among the criteria assessed by the judging panel was quality of work, completion time, organization of the project itself, health and safety implemented during the project, and technical solutions of the construction process among others.
Budimex received three awards in the premier category which recognized its work on the Faculty of Chemistry at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków at Gronostajowa st, construction of the Kraków Zabłocie – Kraków Podgórze rail link, as awell as the design and construction of the S5 Poznań – Wrocław Expressway on the Korzeńsko section (excluding the junction point) – Widawa Wrocław junction (including the junction point).
