Ferrovial-Agromán Internacional, short-listed for a project exceeding 22,000 million pesetas in Argentina

Ferrovial-Agromán Internacional (F&A) has been short-listed for a construction project by El Bolsón Dam, in the province of Catamarca, to the Northwest of the Republic of Argentina. The project budget is 22,000 million pesetas and also includes the works on the 180-km long pipeline to the town of Santa Josefa in the province of La Rioja.

These works are included in the programme for investment in hydraulic infrastructure called Federal Canal General System, which aims to solve the water supply problems in the provinces of Santiago del Estero and La Rioja. F&A was short-listed for that ambitious hydraulic project and will tender before year- end for another two projects with an investment of 25,000 million pesetas, for collection and pumping on the Río Hondo Dam, and construction of 140 km of stretch 1 of the Federal Canal to Laprida, in the province of Santiago del Estero.

Portfolio of 165,000 million pesetas

Ferrovial-Agromán Internacional (F&A) maintains a stable structure in several countries in Latin America, Europe and Northern Africa and has a working portfolio of 165,000 million pesetas.

It is now carrying out road projects in Chile, Colombia, Morocco and Italy, hydraulic infrastructure in Colombia, several hospitals in Uruguay and Italy, the Sidi Aïch Dam in Tunisia, the Olympic Stadium in Tunisia, the Lisbon Metro, residential complexes in Portugal, Chile and Puerto Rico, etc.
